Job Description

The Sales Representative (Australia) will be essential in expanding Talentier’s presence in the Australian market, actively building client relationships and driving business growth. This role involves identifying and connecting with startups, SMEs, and larger enterprises across various industries, from tech and finance to healthcare and retail, who can benefit from Talentier’s services in tech consulting, AI integration, and product development. For example, the Sales Representative may reach out to tech hubs in Sydney, attend industry meetups in Melbourne, or conduct virtual meetings with potential clients across Brisbane.


The role focuses on driving lead generation, managing sales cycles, and closing deals, ensuring clients have a seamless onboarding experience with Talentier. Additionally, the Sales Representative will collaborate with internal teams like Marketing and Product to align sales strategies with campaigns and optimize for Australian clients. They will also attend key Australian events, such as StartCon and TechSydney, to build networks and raise brand awareness.

Job Responsibilities

Identify and Engage Potential Clients:

Research and connect with startups, SMEs, and enterprises across major Australian cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.


Example: Reach out to fintech startups in Sydney or AI-driven healthcare companies in Melbourne to explore potential collaborations.


Manage Sales Processes and Follow-Up:

Guide potential clients through the sales process, including outreach, meetings, and closing deals.


Example: Conduct follow-up calls with new contacts from industry events to convert leads into clients.


Collaborate with Internal Teams:

Work with Talentier’s Marketing and Product teams to create aligned sales strategies tailored to the Australian market.


Example: Coordinate with marketing on a targeted campaign for MVP development tailored to the Australian tech industry.


Attend Industry Events and Network:

Represent Talentier at trade shows, conferences, and tech meetups to generate leads and increase brand visibility.


Example: Participate in StartCon or TechSydney to connect with potential clients and partners.


Meet Sales Targets and Drive Growth:

Focus on revenue generation and client acquisition to meet sales targets and drive overall growth.

Job Requirements

Relevant Experience:

Open to university students, recent graduates, and candidates with 1-2+ years of experience in sales or business development.


Sales and Negotiation Skills:

Proven ability to build client relationships and close deals.


Excellent Communication Skills:

Fluency in English is required. Additional language skills are a plus.


Proactive and Adaptable:

Self-starter who can handle challenges independently and work well in a fast-paced environment.


Collaborative and Data-Driven:

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and tracking metrics to optimize sales strategies.
