Intern, Sales Representative – Canada

Location: Remote - Canada

Job Description

Talentier is seeking motivated interns to join our sales team in Canada. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in sales, building relationships with startups, SMEs, and enterprises across Canada. Interns will assist in lead generation, client engagement, and supporting the entire sales process, contributing directly to Talentier’s growth in the Canadian market.


For example, the intern may cold-call SaaS companies in Toronto, attend networking events in Vancouver, or follow up with clients over email to ensure smooth onboarding. This role provides exposure to various industries and offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and participate in industry events.

Job Responsibilities

Identify and Engage Potential Clients:

Research and connect with startups, SMEs, and enterprises in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.


Example: Cold-call fintech companies or connect with startup founders on LinkedIn to explore business opportunities.


Support the Sales Process:

Assist with outreach, follow-ups, and onboarding for new clients.


Example: Join virtual meetings with clients in Vancouver and follow up with tailored email summaries.


Collaborate Across Teams:

Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with ongoing campaigns.


Example: Coordinate with marketing on promoting MVP development services to startups.


Attend Industry Events and Build Networks:

Participate in networking events, trade shows, and tech meetups to represent Talentier and generate leads.


Example: Attend Toronto’s Collision conference to connect with potential partners and clients.

Job Requirements

Current Students or Recent Graduates:

Open to students or recent graduates with a passion for sales and business development.


Excellent Communication Skills:

Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French is a plus, especially for engaging clients in Quebec.


Proactive and Eager to Learn:

Able to handle challenges independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.


Collaborative and Goal-Oriented:

Enjoy working with cross-functional teams while staying focused on personal and team targets.
