Sales Representative – Canada

Job Description
The Sales Representative (Canada) will play a crucial role in expanding Talentier’s client base and building strong relationships across the Canadian market. This involves identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential clients, including startups, SMEs, and enterprises, who would benefit from Talentier’s tech consulting and development services.
For example, the representative may cold-call tech companies in Toronto, network at Vancouver tech events, or connect with potential partners on LinkedIn.
The representative will also focus on following up on leads, closing sales, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new clients. They will collaborate closely with internal marketing and product teams to align campaigns with sales strategies and meet client needs. Participation in key Canadian industry events, such as Collision or Elevate, will also be part of this role to generate leads and build Talentier’s visibility.
Job Responsibilities
• Identify and Engage Potential Clients:
Research and connect with startups, SMEs, and enterprises across major Canadian cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.
Example: Cold-call SaaS companies or reach out to startups on LinkedIn to explore business opportunities.
• Manage Sales Processes and Follow-Up:
Assist in outreach, guide potential clients through the sales funnel, and close deals.
Example: Conduct follow-up meetings with tech firms in Vancouver to finalize service agreements.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams:
Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with active campaigns.
Example: Coordinate with the product team on tailored solutions for healthcare clients in Montreal.
• Participate in Networking and Industry Events:
Represent Talentier at networking events to generate leads and build relationships.
Example: Attend Collision in Toronto or Elevate to showcase Talentier’s services and expand your network.
• Meet Sales Targets and Drive Growth:
Focus on achieving revenue goals—your success directly impacts your earnings.
Job Requirements
• Relevant Experience:
Open to university students, recent graduates, and candidates with 1-2+ years of experience in sales or business development.
• Sales and Negotiation Skills:
Experience in managing client relationships and closing deals is preferred.
• Excellent Communication Skills:
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French is a strong plus (optional), particularly for clients in Quebec.
• Proactive and Problem-Solving:
Adaptable and able to solve challenges quickly while navigating dynamic situations.
• Collaborative and Data-Driven:
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and using KPIs to optimize sales efforts.
