This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere and contribute to innovative cloud solutions across industries such as healthcare, finance, e-commerce, and tech.

As a Cloud Architect Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments, optimizing cloud architecture, and implementing best practices for our global client base.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, combined with a strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC), container orchestration, and security protocols. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and data engineers to deliver customized, scalable cloud solutions that support the unique needs of each project.

Job Responsibilities

Design and Optimize Cloud Architecture:

Build scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments that support a range of client applications and services.

Example: Design a multi-region deployment on AWS with auto-scaling and failover capabilities for a healthcare client’s application.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Use IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance.

Example: Develop reusable Terraform scripts to streamline the provisioning of cloud resources for new projects.

Manage Cloud Security and Compliance:

Implement best practices for cloud security, data protection, and compliance, ensuring robust safeguards for client data.

Example: Set up IAM roles, encryption policies, and security groups on AWS to enhance data security for a fintech application.

Oversee Containerization and Orchestration:

Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications, ensuring seamless deployment and scaling of microservices.

Example: Configure Kubernetes clusters to deploy containerized applications and facilitate horizontal scaling for an e-commerce platform.

Monitor and Optimize Performance:

Implement monitoring tools to track cloud resource utilization, optimize costs, and improve performance.

Example: Use CloudWatch and Prometheus to monitor resource usage, identify performance bottlenecks, and reduce cloud spending.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

Work with developers, product managers, and data engineers to align cloud infrastructure with application needs.

Example: Collaborate with the development team to ensure backend services integrate smoothly with the cloud environment.

Job Requirements

Relevant Experience:

3+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or related fields.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong Security Knowledge:

Expertise in cloud security best practices, compliance protocols, and data protection strategies.
