Job Description
The Business Development Associate (Germany) will play a critical role in expanding Talentier’s client base across Germany, building relationships, and establishing strategic partnerships within the German market. This role involves identifying opportunities with startups, SMEs, and large enterprises that could benefit from Talentier’s services in tech consulting, AI solutions, and product development. For instance, the manager may attend industry events in Berlin, connect with tech hubs in Munich, or partner with enterprises in Hamburg to promote Talentier’s offerings and drive business growth.
The role also includes building partnerships with local incubators, accelerators, and universities to foster long-term growth opportunities. The Business Development Associate will work closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Sales) to tailor Talentier’s solutions to meet the specific needs of the German market. This may involve collaborating with engineers to provide custom solutions or working with data analysts to adjust sales strategies based on Germany’s market insights.
Job Responsibilities
• Identify and Engage New Business Opportunities:
Research and connect with startups, SMEs, and enterprises in major German cities like Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg to uncover potential clients.
Example: Reach out to fintech companies in Frankfurt or AI-driven startups in Berlin to discuss potential partnerships.
• Build and Manage Strategic Partnerships:
Establish long-term relationships with German incubators, accelerators, and universities to drive collaborative growth.
Example: Partner with a Berlin-based accelerator to offer consulting and tech development services to emerging startups.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams:
Work with Talentier’s Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop solutions that meet the unique needs of the German market.
Example: Coordinate with the marketing team to launch a targeted campaign promoting MVP development for German tech companies.
• Attend Industry Events and Network:
Represent Talentier at German trade shows, conferences, and industry meetups to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Example: Attend events like Berlin Tech Week or Bits & Pretzels in Munich to connect with industry leaders and potential clients.
• Meet Sales Targets and Drive Revenue:
Focus on hitting revenue goals by building a pipeline of clients, closing deals, and managing partnerships to ensure long-term growth.
Job Requirements
• Relevant Experience:
Open to university students, graduates, and candidates with 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales.
• Sales and Negotiation Skills:
Proven ability to build client relationships, negotiate deals, and meet sales targets.
• Bilingual Communication Skills:
Fluency in German and English is essential for engaging effectively with local clients and partners.
• Proactive and Solution-Oriented:
Self-starter who can identify new opportunities, overcome challenges, and drive results independently.
