Business Development Associate (Global)

Job Description

The Global Business Development Associate at Talentier will expand our client base and build strategic partnerships worldwide. This role offers a unique opportunity to work from anywhere and choose your country of focus, allowing you to leverage local knowledge and networks. Your goal will be to identify new business opportunities with startups, SMEs, and enterprises that could benefit from Talentier’s tech consulting, AI integration, and product development services. For instance, you might choose to focus on tech startups in Australia, healthcare firms in Dubai, or fintech companies in Europe to drive Talentier’s growth in diverse markets.


The role also involves developing partnerships with local incubators, accelerators, and universities to foster growth opportunities. As a Global Business Development Associate, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Sales) to ensure that Talentier’s solutions align with specific market needs and set clear sales goals.

Job Responsibilities

Identify and Engage New Business Opportunities:

Research and connect with startups, SMEs, and enterprises in your chosen market to generate qualified leads.


Example: Reach out to AI startups in Canada or e-commerce firms in the Middle East to explore business opportunities.


Build and Manage Strategic Partnerships:

Develop relationships with local incubators, accelerators, and universities to foster long-term growth in your target region.


Example: Partner with a local accelerator in Singapore to offer consulting services to emerging businesses.


Collaborate with Internal Teams:

Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to tailor solutions to meet the needs of your market focus.


Example: Coordinate with marketing to promote Talentier’s MVP development services for tech startups in your chosen region.


Attend Industry Events and Network:

Represent Talentier at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to increase brand visibility and generate leads.


Example: Attend Web Summit in Lisbon or TechCrunch Disrupt to connect with potential clients and partners.


Meet Sales Targets and Drive Growth:

Focus on meeting revenue goals by managing a pipeline of clients and closing deals that contribute to Talentier’s global expansion.

Job Requirements

Relevant Experience:

Open to university students, graduates, and candidates with 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales.


Sales and Negotiation Skills:

Proven ability to build client relationships, close deals, and meet revenue targets.


Excellent Communication Skills:

Fluency in English is essential. Additional language proficiency is a strong advantage, depending on your target region.


Proactive and Solution-Oriented:

A self-starter who can independently identify new opportunities, navigate challenges, and drive results.


Collaborative and Data-Driven:

Comfortable working with internal teams and leveraging data insights to optimize strategies.
