Business Development Associate (Hong Kong)

Job Description
The Business Development Associate (Hong Kong) will focus on expanding Talentier’s client base and fostering strategic partnerships. This involves activities such as identifying new business opportunities by researching startups, SMEs, and enterprises that would benefit from Talentier’s tech services. For example, they might meet with founders or attend industry events to network and introduce Talentier’s solutions.
The role also includes developing and managing partnerships with incubators, accelerators, or other relevant organizations, ensuring these collaborations drive growth. Additionally, the Business Development Associate will work closely with internal teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, and Sales) to align offerings with market needs, set realistic sales goals, and follow through on leads and partnerships. For instance, they might work with data analysts to assess sales performance and refine strategies, or with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions for clients.
Job Responsibilities
Identify New Opportunities:
Research startups, SMEs, and enterprises to uncover potential clients and partnerships.
Build and Manage Partnerships:
Establish and nurture relationships with incubators, accelerators, and key industry stakeholders.
Collaborate with Internal Teams:
Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to align offerings with market needs and create targeted strategies.
Attend Industry Events & Network:
Represent Talentier at relevant events to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
Drive Sales and Meet Targets:
Focus on revenue generation by hitting targets and managing pipelines; the more business you bring in, the higher you earn.
Job Requirements
Relevant Experience:
Open to university students, graduates and candidates with 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales.
Skills Over Experience:
We prioritize problem-solving skills, adaptability, and creativity over years of experience.
Sales and Relationship Management Skills:
Experience in building client relationships and negotiating deals is a plus.
Collaborative Mindset:
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, and Sales) efficiently.
Proactive and Data-Driven:
Comfortable using metrics and KPIs to drive decisions and assess progress.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in Cantonese and English is required to engage effectively with local clients.
