Business Development Associate (Korea)

Job Description

The Business Development Associate (Korea) will play a pivotal role in expanding Talentier’s footprint in the Korean market by establishing strategic partnerships and building relationships with key clients. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities with startups, SMEs, and enterprises across industries like tech, finance, healthcare, and education that can benefit from Talentier’s tech consulting, AI integration, and product development services. For example, the manager may attend tech conferences in Seoul, partner with startup hubs in Busan, or engage with clients virtually to present Talentier’s solutions.


The Business Development Associate will also focus on partnering with Korean incubators, accelerators, and universities to unlock growth potential and foster long-term collaborations. This role involves close coordination with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) to tailor Talentier’s offerings to the unique needs of the Korean market, ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Identify New Business Opportunities:

Research and connect with startups, SMEs, and enterprises across major Korean cities such as Seoul and Busan.


Example: Reach out to e-commerce companies in Seoul or healthcare tech startups in Busan to discuss potential collaborations.


Build and Manage Strategic Partnerships:

Develop long-term relationships with Korean accelerators, incubators, and universities to drive mutual growth.


Example: Partner with a Seoul-based incubator to offer consulting and tech development services to their portfolio startups.


Collaborate with Internal Teams:

Work closely with Talentier’s Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to tailor solutions to the Korean market.


Example: Align with the marketing team on a campaign focused on AI and machine learning for local tech companies.


Attend Industry Events and Network:

Represent Talentier at conferences, meetups, and trade shows in Korea to build brand visibility and generate leads.


Example: Attend the Seoul Startup Festival or K-Startup Grand Challenge to engage with potential clients and industry leaders.


Meet Sales Targets and Drive Revenue:

Focus on achieving revenue goals by managing a solid pipeline of clients and closing deals that support Talentier’s growth in Korea.

Job Requirements

Relevant Experience:

Open to university students, graduates and candidates with 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales.


Sales and Negotiation Skills:

Strong ability to build client relationships and close deals.


Excellent Communication Skills:

Fluency in Korean is required, with strong English skills for collaborating with the global team.


Proactive and Solution-Oriented:

A self-starter who can navigate challenges and identify opportunities independently.


Collaborative and Data-Driven:

Able to work with cross-functional teams and leverage data insights to refine sales strategies.
