Business Development Associate (USA)

Job Description
The Business Development Associate (USA) will focus on expanding Talentier’s client base in the U.S. market and building strategic partnerships across industries. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, particularly with tech companies, startups, SMEs, and other enterprises seeking tech solutions or development support. For example, the manager may attend startup meetups in tech hubs like Silicon Valley, tech conferences in New York, or networking events in Austin or any city in the U.S. to connect with potential clients and introduce Talentier’s offerings.
The associate will also develop partnerships with local incubators, accelerators, and universities to create growth opportunities. Additionally, they will work closely with Talentier’s internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Sales) to tailor solutions to the U.S. market, align offerings with industry needs, and set measurable sales goals. For example, they might coordinate with engineers to ensure solutions meet client needs or collaborate with data analysts to refine sales strategies based on market performance.
Job Responsibilities
• Identify New Opportunities in USA:
Research tech companies, startups, and SMEs across key markets like Silicon Valley, New York, Austin and other cities in the U.S. to uncover new business opportunities.
• Build and Manage Partnerships:
Develop relationships with incubators, accelerators, universities, and industry associations to foster long-term collaborations.
Example: Partner with a New York-based accelerator to provide tech consulting services to emerging startups.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams:
Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet U.S. clients’ needs.
Example: Align with the sales team on a strategy for promoting MVP development to tech startups.
• Attend Industry Events and Network:
Represent Talentier at conferences, meetups, and trade shows to increase visibility and generate leads.
Example: Participate in events like CES, TechCrunch Disrupt, or Austin Startup Week to connect with potential clients.
• Drive Sales and Meet Targets:
Focus on achieving revenue targets by building and managing a pipeline of clients. The more business you bring in, the more you earn.
Job Requirements
• Relevant Experience:
Open to university students, graduates and candidates with 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales.
• Problem-Solving Skills:
We value creativity and adaptability—especially when building relationships with U.S. clients.
• Sales and Negotiation Skills:
Experience managing client relationships and closing deals is a plus.
• Collaborative Mindset:
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple tasks.
• Language Skills:
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus, especially Spanish.
